Surfing the little island next to Madeira, could be a treat, although the variety and quality of the waves appear to not be nearly as excellent as its big sister. Yet, it might be a vibe if you are really wanting to send something out of the way.

The only breaking wave, on a smaller day could be excellent to avoid the crowds, and learn for a beginner, so that would be my only recommendation if you are wanting a little less out of the Madeira popularity.

Not really worth it, unless you are a beginner who wants to work on the very basics without the crowds. So, not worth the search for the session, unless its in that regards.
